After breakfast this morning, start your journey to the cultural triangle for a couple of days.
Visit and explore the first ancient capital of Anuradhapura – the ancient stupas, small shrines, palaces, and ancient drinking water reservoirs are some of the sites you should not miss out on. Even today, the pilgrims still visit the sacred Bo tree which is thought to have been brought to Lanka by no other than Sangamitta, the daughter of the emperor Asoka sometime around the third century BC. According to tradition, it is a sampling of the Bodh Gaya under which Buddha attained enlightenment.
Afterwards, settle down in your accommodation and check-in at the Resort. Enjoy the ambiance of the lush green environment.
In the evening, a special local dining experience will be arranged at the “Kamatha”.

This morning after breakfast, proceed to Sigiriya and visit the famous Sigiriya Lion Rock.
Afterwards, return to your resort and spend the rest of the day at leisure.
Late afternoon, enjoy a 4×4 drive through the local village exploring the paddy fields, backroads of Thirappane, and the local lifestyle. Enjoy a lovely picnic by the lake while watching the sunset – you may also spot some Asian wild Elephants if you are lucky.

Enjoy your breakfast and proceed to Kandy, a charming city with a colonial past. Explore around the Kandy town, the market, and later visit the Kandy Temple of the Tooth Relic.
After exploring Kandy, head towards the outskirts of Kandy to your wellness retreat located in the outskirts of Kandy.

Early this morning, hike to the Knuckles Mountain Range – one of the most scenic hikes in the area. Knuckles Mountain Range was recently declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site and offers a wide variety of rare and endemic flora and fauna and some breathtaking mountain scenery. It is an absolute paradise for those who love to hike, you can choose from a great variety of trails. A picnic brunch will be arranged during the hike.

Today, take the scenic train ride from Kandy to Hatton railway station.
Afterwards, settle down at your tea planters bungalow in the hill country, enjoy the scenery and the cooler climate.

Today, meet the resident tea planter and visit the nearby tea factory.
In the hills of Hatton, the tradition of tea planting is still alive which dates back to the 19th century when the British introduced tea to the country. The machinery and techniques which were used back then is still being practised to perfection. Interestingly, the tea pluckers are mostly Tamil women, who live hard life conditions that have improved dramatically since the 19th century but it is still a back breaking job.

Bid farewell to the hill country and proceed to your most awaited beach stay in the South coast. The drive will be on winding roads; you can also have the option of taking a domestic flight transfer.
